Had the family not taken shifts to be with my brother to assist with EVERYTHING, he would have probably been treated like the poor helpless patients that are parked in front of the nurses stations and along the walls for an entire shift or more. The staff ignored their presence and plea's for help. They sat in their wheelchairs with their legs hanging down, heads bobbing with no support as they sporadically slept and their meals placed in front of them with minimal assistance. It was obvious to me that the patients who were suffering from dementia/childlike behavior or stroke victims were the ones who got planted.
